1. Who we are

Clectic ("we", "us") operates this website to sell handmade jewelry. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the site, why, and what your rights are.

2. Information we collect

We only collect what's needed to run the store and respond to you:

• When you place an order: full name, email address, phone number, and delivery address (governorate, city/area, street address, and optionally building/floor details and postal code).
• To verify your email at checkout: a one-time 6-digit code is emailed to the address you provide and expires after 10 minutes. We don't require an account to check out.
• When you contact us: your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message.
• Automatically, for site reliability: if something on the site breaks, our error-monitoring tool (Sentry) may record the error, the page it happened on, your browser and operating system, and a general IP-based location. This is for fixing bugs, not for tracking you individually.

We do not collect payment card numbers or other payment credentials through this site — payment is arranged directly with you as part of fulfilling your order.

3. Cookies and local storage

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and there's no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tool on this site. We use your browser's local storage (not cookies) for two purely functional things: remembering what's in your cart between visits, and optionally remembering that you've already verified your email so you don't need to re-verify it on a future order. Both stay on your own device — we don't receive or store this locally-saved data ourselves, and you can clear it anytime through your browser's settings. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

4. Who we share information with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. Each only receives what it needs to do its specific job:

• Supabase — hosts our database (orders, products).
• Brevo — sends order confirmation, verification, and shipping-update emails.
• ImageKit — hosts product and site photos (not customer data).
• Vercel — hosts the website itself.
• Sentry — error monitoring, as described above.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. How long we keep it

Order information is kept as long as needed for order fulfillment, customer support, and our own business records. Email verification codes expire after 10 minutes and aren't kept afterward. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see Section 7.

6. Security

Order and customer data is only accessible to verified store administrators, protected by authentication and database-level access rules. No online system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information against unauthorized access.

7. Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it, by reaching out through our Contact page. We'll respond as quickly as we reasonably can.

If we make meaningful changes to how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
